One of four "classifier" valency prefixes mandatory on all Lower Tanana verbs. The ɬ-classifier has the following uses:
Appears in many transitive verbs
Forms causative verbs
Appears thematicized in some intransitive verbs
With de- and gh-, forms comparatives of dimensional verbs.
